1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Water Paint mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Your use is also subject to our Privacy Policy and, on Android, the Google Play Terms of Service.
2. Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Water Paint for your own non-commercial enjoyment, in accordance with these Terms and any app-store rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or distribute the Service except as permitted by law.
3. Coins & virtual items
- No real-world value. "Coins" and other virtual items are a limited licence to use features within the app. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred outside the app.
- Earning & spending. You can earn coins for free (for example by completing paintings, daily check-ins or watching rewarded ads) or buy them. Coins are spent to use certain features, such as opening canvases.
- Balances are managed on our servers and may be adjusted to correct errors, fraud or abuse. We may change the price, availability or mechanics of virtual items at any time.
- Expiry/forfeiture. Unused coins may be forfeited if your account is closed or the Service is discontinued, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Purchases, subscriptions & refunds
- Purchases (coin packs, "remove ads", and subscriptions) are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not handle your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen period until cancelled. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's policies and applicable consumer law. Consumable items already granted are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Advertising
The Service may show ads, including optional rewarded ads. Advertising is provided via Google AdMob; see our Privacy Policy for how ads and consent work. A premium/remove-ads option may be available for purchase.
6. Your content (imported photos)
If you import your own photo to paint, you keep all rights to it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process and display that image on your device for the painting feature. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any photo you import, and you must not import unlawful, infringing or offensive content.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, tampering with coin balances or purchases, using cheats or bots, or violating any applicable law or the rights of others.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its artwork, software, branding and content (excluding photos you import), is owned by Water Paint or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Water Paint will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or virtual items, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
